Every club here is part of one shared world. 740 of them have a human manager and the AI runs the other 1,347. AI clubs pick their own teams, set tactics and trade players in the same market as everyone else, so the clubs below are all playing real matches every hour.
When you sign up you are given a club straight away, usually in the lower leagues, where a good manager can win quickly. From there you build: sign players, promote prospects from the academy, expand the stadium and climb the pyramid. As your reputation grows, bigger clubs and national teams can offer you a job.
