The match centre
Every game with a human manager is listed in one place: live now, coming up and just finished. Watch your own, scout a rival's, or check how the top of the league is getting on. Youth games can be shown or hidden.

Before kickoff
The match page opens before the game starts. You see both line ups and kits, the opponent's danger men and the countdown to kickoff. There is still time to go back to Tactics and change your team.

On the touchline
Once it kicks off, the match plays on a 2D pitch with the score, the clock and a running commentary. If you manage one of the two clubs you can make substitutions and change your tactic while it plays, and the change takes effect in the match.

The report and the replay
At full time the match report opens: the score, line ups, stats, the full commentary and any penalties. Watch the whole match back on the 2D replay, and share it with whoever needs to see that goal.
Questions and answers
- Do I have to watch my matches?
- No. Submit your team sheet and the match engine plays it whether you are online or not. Watching live lets you react while it runs.
- When are matches played?
- Every gameday has a fixed kickoff slot, about one an hour. A season is 61 gamedays, so roughly 61 hours of real time.
- Can I make substitutions during a match?
- Yes. If you manage one of the two clubs, substitutions and tactic changes made during a live match take effect in that match.
